So, why not give it a go and see for yourself? Feel the rhythm… join the beat!

Here is some feedback from my Glasgow class…

“You are well worth coming through to Glasgow for” – H Harris, Edinburgh

“I highly recommend this energising and fun class. It is so well taught that even people with no rhythm, like me, can play the first week!” – Tiffany S, Glasgow

“I appreciate your class, Fiona because you are very patient and methodical and we have a good laugh as well”. – F McKenzie, Glasgow

No experience necessary, so don’t be nervous or think you have no rhythm, come and give it a go! I have djembes available… booking is essential so I know how many drums to bring.

Thursdays: 26 April to 24 May 2012, 1.00pm – 2.30pm
£7 per week

“I absolutely love coming along to the drumming. It is a great way to de-stress and clear your head at the end of the day, meet new folk, learn a few rhythms and have a laugh along the way. I would certainly recommend you try it…” – J McLellan, Glasgow

“As a beginner, I am finding the pace perfect. Taking time to really understand the drum, with plenty of fun and structure to the lessons”. – D Mae, Glasgow

“I appreciate your class, Fiona because you are very patient and methodical and we have a good laugh as well”. – F McKenzie, Glasgow

“I have enjoyed every djembe lesson I have had with Fiona. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and I always have lots of fun while learning. Each time I go I leave feeling I learned more and also feeling very upbeat!!!” – M Connor, Newarthill

If you’d like to know more, or would like some drumming in the Falkirk or Edinburgh area, then please get in touch, click here, thank you.

Thursdays: 19 April 2012 to 17 May 2012 (Glasgow)
Time: 7.15pm – 8.45pm
Cost: £35 for 5wk block

I am so excited and pleased to let you know that my CD, The Heart of the Matter, has been reviewed in the latest edition of the WHG Mag (pg 28) – Issue 16, Feb 11 to Apr 11

In case you can’t get your hands on a copy, here is what is says:-

This CD includes mantra chants, deep relaxing drumming and instrumental tracks as well as some fairly upbeat instrumental tracks to finish. My personal preference was for the more meditative and relaxed tracks in the middle of the CD, they were certainly effective for sound journeying and I have played them several times. Different strokes for different folks as they say ( I think they say that don’t they??) so I am sure the Heart Sutra mantra (track 1) will be played on a loop by some. ‘Shake it up’ (track 7) along with ‘Groovin” (track 8 ) will similarly have great audience appeal, I just preferred to chill out man. It is nice to find a CD that allows you to wander off into your own experience without too much interference or overt suggestion. Give it a go.

If you would like to hear a short medley of the CD, please click here or to purchase, please click here.

Thank you and best wishes – Fiona
